James Hill (he/him) is a queer, Chicago-based, multi-media artist focused on mosaics, sculptures, public art, and building community. His lifelong passions of biology, horticulture, and aquatic life influence the themes and subjects of his art. James also draws inspiration from the physical structures that make up Chicago and how they affect the environment. Through his work, James hopes to connect his audience to nature and emphasize the human need to coexist with it. In between creating art and teaching workshops in his home studio near North Park, James also does face painting for community events.
